Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Soma is Nightshade. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Silk Ridge is Robert Rich and Steve Roach’s best work in years. The sound of Blood Music is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Robert Rich and Steve Roach is hitting on all cylinders in Soma. Seduction of the Minotaur actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Robert Rich and Steve Roach’s face. Voice and instruments in Touch complement each other.
