Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. It has been eleven years Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers’ last studio CD, “Alphabet Blues” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. ‘Alphabet Blues’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Such great and happy songs.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Can’t Get That Stuff No More because the melody in the chorus is so good. Skin Deep is probably the most interesting track on Alphabet Blues. Night’s End presents the amazing mix of instruments on Alphabet Blues. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. The Bounce - For me, this is the best of the album. Nice and different song. Somebody is marvelous work of Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Hydramatic Woman is my favorite song on Alphabet Blues. Tangled With A Woman is a fine track on any terms. So much energy, so exciting a sound.No Pretty Presents is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses.
