Run-D.M.C.’s debut, ‘Back From Hell’, does not fit easily into one genre. Self-described as Rap: Hip-Hop with lots of words, Run-D.M.C. comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Run-D.M.C.. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Run-D.M.C. ever.
From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. It’s a great pleasure to listen to What’s It All About from the beginning to the end. Bob Your Head is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Faces - a classic song. All of songs on Back From Hell and have something to say letting alone Kick The Frama Lama Lama. Pause make listening to Run-D.M.C. like being in some sort of time warp. A great put together song. Best song on the album, love it. The sound in Don’t Stop is really warm and Run-D.M.C.’s signature voice is still very much present. Groove To The Sound is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Back From Hell have ended. P Upon A Tree has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. This track is full of harmonies and gets Back From Hell off to a relaxing start. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Livin’ In The City is my favorite song on Back From Hell. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Not Just Another Groove because the melody in the chorus is so good.
