This album has some very good songs like Allegretto and Moderato (Poco Allegretto). It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Shostakovich, Dmitriy energies, virtually a rebirth. Shostakovich, Dmitriy had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Another great offering from Shostakovich, Dmitriy.
Moderato (Poco Allegretto) one of the best in my collection. Adagio is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Allegro Non Troppo has a fun tempo.
