‘Victims’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Now signed to Steel Pulse’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Victims” leads Steel Pulse’s back-to-school campaign. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Steel Pulse energies, virtually a rebirth. One of Steel Pulse’s best albums yet.
Taxi Driver on Victims is solid and easy to listen to. Soul Of My Soul presents the perfect mix of instruments on Victims. Grab A Girlfriend is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Victims. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. First time I heard Money was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Music and lyrics of Victims creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. The sound of Gang Warfare is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. To Tutu is another strong production from Steel Pulse. Free The Land is a gorgeous, simple song by Steel Pulse at the top of his game. We Can Do It still maintains something of a specific flourish. In Stay With The Rhythm the music gets its power. Evermore is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Dudes gives taste of what makes Steel Pulse special as a musician. Taxi (Dub) - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Steel Pulse is one of artists that allow his songs like We Can Do It (A Capella) to stand on their own and be heard.
