Texas Cadillac isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. For older fans Texas Cadillac will put a massive smile accross your face. ‘Texas Cadillac’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Overall, I would highly recommend Texas Cadillac CD.
I loved Still A Fool the first time I heard it. Seems Like A Million Years as a highlight of Texas Cadillac contains a ton of gorgeous melodies. Show You What They Say is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Tv Light - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Mean Old World - A strong beat. I’ve found myself listening to Texas Cadillac back to back and back many times. Where Can You Be is the most memorable and excellent. Opening track Little Red Rooster shows the best of The Smokin’ Joe Kubek Band. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Texas Cadillac. I now have Must Have Missed A Turn Somewhere as one of my personal favorites.
