This is the first studio album from Tina Turner since bad diagnosis in 1990. This disc has all of the essential Tina Turner classics. While no new Tina Turner album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1990 tour in Africa. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Paradise Is Here is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. I’ll Be Thunder without a doubt is the standout song of Break Every Rule. What You Get Is What You See gets you up and jumping. The sound in Two People is really warm and Tina Turner’s signature voice is still very much present. Till The Right Man Comes Along is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Afterglow - I just love it. Girls is beautiful, yet underrated track. The opening track Back Where You Started is very much like you would expect from other albums. Break Every Rule is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
