There is so much to love about Ustad Sultan Khan, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Raga Darbari, Raga Multani’ really is amazing. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Ustad Sultan Khan’s album Raga Darbari, Raga Multani falls to No. 2 with 444,000, a sales slide of 89%. To me Ustad Sultan Khan is the best band ever.
Raga Darbari: Jhala - Okay, I just talked about depth. Raga Multani: Aochar without a doubt is the standout song of Raga Darbari, Raga Multani. Raga Multani: Vilambit is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Raga Multani: Drut is one of these floating songs.
