Symphonies 7 and 8 is an amazing album, racked with beauty.eleven years ago, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Philadelphia Orchestra briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Symphony No. 7 In D minor, Op. 70 - III. Scherzo-Vivace”. Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Wolfgang Sawallisch, Philadelphia Orchestra’s new album to that on ‘Symphonies 7 and 8′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Enjoy the show.
After you’ve listened to Symphony No. 7 In D minor, Op. 70 - III. Scherzo-Vivace, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. A great put together song. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Symphony No. 7 In D minor, Op. 70 - I. Allegro maestoso because the melody in the chorus is so good.
